How do I upload my website?

Step 1 -

Now that you have completed signing up with UCwebhost.com your probably wanting to upload your website to our server. The first step is going to http://IPADDRESS/cpanel and log in using your username and password. You can login using your email address you used when you signed up. Please refer to the email we just sent you if you can't remember them.

The login tool is located at the top right corner of the page at UCwebhost.com

Step 2 -

The next page you will come to is the Client Area. Click on "My Hosting Packages" then "View Details" on the right side of the page you will find a "Login to cPanel" click it. Then click on the FTP Manager link to open up a new page which will display all the options under FTP Manager.

Step 3 -

The next page you will come to is the FTP Manager. Click on the unlimtedFTP icon to launch the online Java FTP Client.
A Security Warning Window may pop up. Click yes to continue loading the unlimtedFTP. You can also check the always trust box to avoid this box from popping up in the future. If the application doesn't pop up you need to install the Java Virtual Machine on your system. You can get one at the following site http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp Macintosh users can go here http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Step 4 -

Now UnlimtedFTP should be loaded. UnlimtedFTP is setup a lot like the Windows filemanager. The items in the left column are the folders and files on your local hard drive. The items in the right column are the folders and files on the server. Browse to the folder where you saved your webpage on your local hard drive in the left column. Now Browse to the public_html folder in the right column. You can open folders by double clicking on them. We are now ready to upload your files. Highlight the files you want uploaded and then click on the upload button. Please make sure your homepage is named index.html before uploading. All your website folders and files need to be in the public_html folder in order for the public to access them.
